it's Day 8!!!

man i'm starting to lose track how many days has it been already. taking 13th june to be Day 1, and today being the 20th, so today is Day 8. i'm officially entering into Week 2. and damn i'm still not sure if i've made the first sale. but well there has been progress nevertheless. maybe not big, but it's still progress.

1) i've managed to get email replies from all the people i emailed to.
2) i've got more clicks now. (hell yeah!)
3) i can access the googlegroup for discussions
4) there will be a meet-up this tuesday(that's just marvelous!)

The following is extracted from an email i should out to some of my IMB friends:

"on another note, my ppc so far is getting better in a sense they're receiving clicks but my concern now is whether i'm going overbudget or not because if let's say an item is costing only a mere USD100+, wouldnt the budget for Max CPC be 0.04 if i'm looking at 100 clicks to achieve one buy?"

"i'm actually already going over the marketing budget because the commision i would receive for this item is only a mere USD4.00+.but surely i can't bring the Max CPC to 0.04 right?? lol do you guys get what i mean or have i already lost you guys? lol... anyway i have other campaigns promoting other items running at the same time but they don't concern me so badly because their clicks come in much slower so im not overbudget yet for them."

Day 6. My first click!!!

Okay i received my very first click yesterday night actually. man i was so superbly excited upon seeing it it was crazy!!! haha. yes yes i know it's just one only but that my very first!!!! lol. well i learned probably my products i'm selling hasn't got a really great demand. so i've added one more new item. it's an electronics item. i'm contemplating whether to scrap my ads that's not receiving any clicks by the way. but maybe i'll give it a few more days. well so far all my fellow IMBers that i've emailed to has all replied. so it's great. i will be linking their blog to mine. i'm left with one more disc to watch from the PPC demystified package. keep tuned in guys!!

end of day 5

well hello. been quite a great day i suppose. ive watched the first 2 discs of ppc demystified. shot an email to 4 of my fellow bootcampers just to keep in contact, keep us encouraged and to keep going. added one more item to be sold, it's a jointer. been playing with my cpc ads the whole day. adjusting the keywords, the max cpc and more. my adds have achieved impressions but not clicks so far. well i've got the greenlight from my brother to use his debit card for the time being by the way. thats all so far for now.

My first active adwords campaign

so here's what's going on at the minute. i have 3 running ads running using google adwords. all 3 under 1 campaign. Im trying to sell a Dual-Action Elliptical Trainer, a HJC full face carbon fiber helmet and a men's black onyx diamond ring. the best part is this, i'm already seeing impressions for 1 of my ad. it's the men's black onyx diamond ring. however it's zero impressions for the other 2 ads. so i'm wondering why they're not working. i activated these ads yesterday night by the ways. right before i sleep. it's during the time i posted my previous post on this blog. Anyways here's what i intend to do for each ad im running, i'll be putting the link on my blogspot. so my blog will be continously updated of the ads im running until i further notice. and i'm still figuring out how to get my blogspot indexed in google search.

day 4.

man. im done for the day. kinda drained out. gotta sleep. but definitely wanna do more. well today i did 2 more adgroups in adwords. still awaiting for it to be found in the search results when the keywords are entered in google search. and can't wait till my own debit card is activated. then i dun have to worry so much about ppc. 'cos currently i'm using my brother's card, or until i can find somebody else. besides that, i adjusted my blog a little more. my blog still can't be found in google search. need to find out how. well what's the next steps from here on? find more niche, and to watch the ppc video again. oh and ive added all the malay fellow bootcampers on msn. wonder how their doing. tmr i'll shoot them an email.

3rd and last day of boot camp

First of all, today was the last day of the boot camp. That was slightly a sad thing and we were already starting to miss each other suddenly. I don’t know about the others but that’s how I felt. Well the best part about it is that we are all on our own now. Knowledge has already been provided to us. And I can’t wait. I really can’t. right after I finish with this blog. And because I’ve got like almost all the time in the world up to the 1st of july, I’m totally going to make full use of it. Well okay enough of personal stuffs now. Let’s go on to the summary of the things learnt from today.

Well the last satisfying thing was seeing my landing page working. There’s this landing page where we had to make minor adjustments to using NVU, FileZilla and 1profitsystem.com. There’s this entry in the landing page whereby once the ‘reader’ or ‘visitor’ enters his name and email address and clicks on submit, the page will be redirected to a “thank you” page. Initially there was an error that keep appearing instead of the thank you page. well in the end it was figured out by my mentor paul pang. really grateful to him. turns out we just had to delete and re-upload the files into the hosting, instead of just replacing it. sheesh it took us quite some time to figure it out actually. well at least it was really really great to have seen it worked. means i'm okay to go further.

well i shall keep it short from hereforth. getting sleepy somehow. so just a summary of the things covered. so things i learned or did today are as follows...

1) delete cookies in internet browser
2) signed up for worldinternetacademy which provides marvellous tutorials
3) learning to set up a tracking system to webpages
4) activating internet hosting for domains
5) using autoresponder for the thank you page after the landing page
6) watched how 2 fellow bootcampers have their existing website about their business analised and how its marketing can be improved
7) strengthening the relationship with a few other fellow bootcampers a little more in advancing towards support group for each other while starting-up
8) volunteered to be a video testimonial for the boot camp
