Day 19: things to do

things to do:

-update payment account in google adwords, or check account balance of my debit card
-reorganise my adsense campaign (having only 2 adword variations at a time, with only 1 difference to the ads)
-find out if i am properly linked as an affiliate with the autoresponder currently running. (reply to jeffrey through the email ticket)
-find out about google affiliate program
-write up articles for my "new" blog/niche (focusing in on one)
-sign up for more affiliate programs, (for eg commision junction)
-creating another blog for evidence of abundence in my personal experience of harnessing the law of attraction

i need to remind myself, that without money at present, it does not mean i cannot become richer. there are other methods and ways to achieve my goal. i need to remind myself on this because yesterday night i was a little upset that i could not sign up for another course because of the high fees for it in comparison to how much money i have available at the moment.

and i wish to announce that my current short term goal is:

"To earn $2.5k per month by the end of 2008."

might not sound like a lot to some. but i'm going for a step by step goal achievements considering where i am financially at the moment.

Day 18: Enter Content Publishing

so i have decided.



That since i'm entering into Content Publishing, i have came up with the steps that will take me there. For example, Content Publishing requires an website, but the alternative is to use blogger to fill it up with whatever contents or articles while website is still under construction. This actually is what some of my fellow IMBers are already doing. Which i think is a pretty cool idea.



so i have currently found a niche, i have found http://ezinearticles.com/ which contains related articles of this niche, and i have found related products that offers affiliate program. I have quite a few things up for this niche already, like i said, i'm using. i'll provide the link on this blog once it's ready.



i have signed up as an affiliate with clickbank by the way.



since i have my own debit card, i've changed all my billing settings. so that my brother won't be involved in any of the billing charges.



and my amazon sure did increased again! look:






so my next steps coming up, will be

1) putting together an article of this new-found niche to be posted to ezinearticle.

2) providing short reviews for each item that i have on that new blog.

Day 17: Widget, Budget

So i've got a reply from Jeffrey (the mentor and not my coursemate) regarding the question i posted about some tweaking of the emails in the autoresponder. Apparently, i had to log in to my infusionsoft.com account, log in to my domain's c-panel and log in to 1profitsystem.com to make these changes. So that's good, just awaiting the results to see if each email is really working right or not. so from these, i can start

well more earnings will be coming in from amazon. currently awaiting 4 more items to be shipped before i can officially earn from it through referral.

i currently have 2 new items i've added to my ad campaigns. Both are copiers, 1 a Xerox, and the other a Canon.

except for these 2 copiers, and my B&H Capsules, unfortunately i've decided to pause all the other adwords campaigns . since i'm running out of money to run these campaigns. that's okay. i'm banking in those 2 new items. unfortunately! nevermind. money come and go. it can never be depleted. if it does, it's ONLY TEMPORARY.

By the way apparently (and i actually only realised this some days ago) what some of my fellow IMBers were doing with their blog is creating content for the Content Publishing method. D'Oh! and i must say some of them are really on the correct path towards creating in this method. whethere or not they have generated sales i do not know yet. well alright i just take it that they'll be pretty good examples for me to learn from.

i have fixed up the amazon widget into my blog.

so upcoming steps:
1) creation of content publishing website (by the end of July 2008)

Day 16: "Thank You" page, Autoresponder and PPC(again!)

So my "Thank You" page has been remedied. Thanks to Victor Ng! I realised my script really got a little messed up that's why it wasn't working properly. Well that aside, i'm now going into autoresponder system. Currently still tweaking the auto-emails that i was provided with so that those are just not for display. would be a real embarassment if somebody really did subscribe through my link and got some email that has holes in it. Since i had some questions regarding those emails, i posted in into the IMB googlegroup and at the same time send a question-ticket to the support group. hope to hear the solution tomorrow since i predict next week will be a pretty tight schedule for me.

next, i finally got into contact with Iskandar! another of my fellow IMBer. How perfect 'cos i really had been wondering how he was doing. apparently he's doing pretty good for his PPC ad campaign i'll say. cause he's definitely doing better than me! i'm making a loss, he's not! lol. gawsh. so through the conversation, i got some tips on how he was doing his ad campaign. it's definitely gotta do with the item you chose. and he did mention what kinda item sells for him. and his pointers were about the keywords. these are the words that i MUST remember:

"then if ur keyword is poor, dun upz ur bid too much..maybe its the keyword u used..so juz change the right keyword..it will work and at least change to OK.."

that aside, i still have yet to sign up for other affiliate programs by the way.

well it will be in 2 day's time that i will be holding a full time job. lately i have been totally free, focusing much of my free time with this internet marketing. well let's see how i handle both from that day onwards. i definitely will keep on going with my internet marketing endeavour.

so my upcoming steps:
1) remedy those emails in my autoresponder system
2) look into creation of content website (content publishing)
3) sign up for more affiliate programs.
*4) hunt for a new item and pause all the other items to really focus on just that one. (aiming after shooting)
5) building an MP3 widget from Amazon on my blog
