Where am I right now

It's becoming less and less frequent that I am updating this blog but here's just to keep you guys upsdated as to where am I at the moment.

KASH:
KA$H is embarking on a new project of T-Shirts. Honestly I am a bit lost in this but I'll just ride the wave and follow the team's direction. We embarking onto this because the current projects are currently not moving that well. However, we are never giving up.

www.sggemstonejewellery.com:
There have been visitors to the site but no sales nor enquiries. This sub-project of KA$H is my responsibility and I had been struggling to keep up with it in terms of making it better. However the best part about this project is that because both Irie Gems and KA$H is depending on me, I am given no choice but to work on it. I find this to be one way of motivation.

eBay:
My eBay account was temporarily suspended because I had unwittingly violated one of their policies. It's one lesson learnt.

Racing Suit:
This project is the brainchild of a cousin of mine. I had been given the task by them for the hosting and the domain name. The hosting will be provided by KA$H(at a fee of course). The fee will be provided soon enough. Right now I will be researching on the suitable domain name for them.

Others:
Just some weeks ago, I received a call from a guy in Florida asking about B&H capsules. So far that is the second time that somebody has enquired me regarding that. He was asking me about the price of it including the delivery. But I was too slow to react so I lost the sale but it was a lesson learnt.

Juggling to My Success

as time goes by, the responsibility and things I need to accomplish becomes more and more if I really want to declare myself as a true internet marketeer.

Currently, I find myself learning how to juggle between my day time job (Rastafari), KA$H, and eBay. And I DO find that to be really a handful already. but of course, no excuses to keep trying.

Eversince my eBay course, my email inbox gets new mail a whole lot more frequent. to a point i sometimes can't seem to keep up. It's mainly because of the googlegroup i am subscribed to to. This googlegroup keeps us all eBay course participants in the loop of new updates or calls for help, etc. I find myself having a sense of guilt for not actively participating and not responding to their calls as soon as I can.

Just for your info, I am in 2 google groups at the moment. one for eBay and one for the Internet Marketing Bootcamp in June 2008. every now and then too, for the IMB googlegroup there are fellow coursemates who dropped an email to give an update of how they are doing. Just recently 2 members shared the website that they've created after trying for months. Check it out:

KA$H is BIG.

its amazing how GREAT KA$H is becoming. earlier just now I shared with them what I have learnt in eBay. The whole group agreed with how great TERAPEAK is in providing crucial info for market research in eBay. In fact, Hakeem really got excited in learning that. Most importantly, I feel I did managed to keep them in the loop as best as I can.

After that we discussed on an idea for the springrolls. Here's a quick info regarding the springrolls:
Koh had come into contact with the company Den Industry. Den Industry had been dealing with frozen food as wholesale. Koh had worked a deal to market for them. But only recently had things been picking up and more serious. Den Industry wants to create a chain of stalls in Singapore and KA$H is the one to make it a reality for them. What a great deal this really is.

I really look forward for its progress.

Lately, I've been busy with the gemstones website, especially on its technical part. I'm also going into eBay for that. I had already created an eBay ID for that.

There was a GoogleGroup created out of the eBay course. It really keeps me updated with members of the group continously giving their inputs. But unfortunately I have not really been doing enough to stay on par with the other fast moving coursemates. I feel I am a little behind to some of them. But it's okay because most importantly I know I'm still moving.

On another note, Hakeem's blog has brought more visitors to my blog. It's really great! I found this out after checking the statistics in Google Analytics.

KA$H is made up of really great individuals. All of them each had been inspiring me and kept motivated and rooted to my goals. Hakeem, who recently went through a major break-up with his lady after being in the relationship for four years, is still staying focused with his work. He is the greatest example I have known personally for being professional. Alan, a retiree but still doesn't give up learning and continuously active in keeping himself updated despite his age and sometimes lack of technical know-how. Koh, is the most driven amongst all. I'm really grateful to have found them.

My first Closed Deal for KA$H

What a great milestone for KA$H today.

What a great milestone for myself as an internet marketeer actually.

Today, I helped to close a deal for KA$H, a hosting service for an uprising company. From that, I effectively generated SGD$80 for KA$H.

This uprising company is being set up by a cousin of mine. I'm so glad to be a small part of it. I will provide a link down here once it's up and running.

Most importantly, I have brought in money for KA$H. I am so proud of myself.
APPLAUSE PLEASE! lol....

I will be generating more money as an internet marketeer.

"eBay Tools of Mass Domination" Course

Yesterday and today I attended the course "EBay Tools for Mass Domination" conducted by Benjamin Marc Wee.

Like every other courses I attended, it felt GREAT just being there. Getting fed the knowledge was GREATER, meeting more people there was the GREATEST!

This course I have to say is really different in imparting the much-needed knowledge to us in just 2 short days. For some reason, it was a calm and conducive environment. The best 2 things I liked about this particular course was The eBay Game and the sharing session.

For the Game we were divided into groups of 5 each where we were given the tasks to work as a team to rake in the most cash after 31 game-days(each day is 3 minutes). My team eventually got second in place but most importantly it helped us understand the crucial elements in making it in eBay.

During the sharing session, each and every one of us shared how and what we want to market on eBay. It was really great as I get to learn about the other coursemates better from there. But best of all, I got to reach out to the whole class as I made a call to those who wanted to market the items that I have since I have the source.

One of the crucial things to make it in eBay is actually www.terapeak.com as this is where we can do the market research.

Myself and 6 other coursemates have already signed up for a terapeak account and this is really good.

As for the follow-ups of this course, there will be a gathering session and a consultation session. I most definitely look forward to all this.

This really DOES FEEL GOOD!

More Things To Do

Just had another weekly meeting with KA$H. So from that, here are more things to do on my part:

1. Remove current form in www.sggemstonejewellery.com and then attaching a Wufoo form to the PayPal button.
2. Testing out the payment.
3. Inform the writer from www.elance.com to write up for springrolls as well.
4. Studying the cpanel of www.sggemstonejewellery.com

new update

it's 6am right now friday morning. and I have not slept. lol..

well yesterday night just had another weekly meeting with KA$H. just the common update of sghawkerfood.com and sggemstonejewellery.com. Hakeem had been quite bothered with the appearance of sghawkerfood.com especially after he had seen soshiok.com that Koh had come across. So he had asked us for feedback and what can be improved. That we did, but myself and Koh said to him we are not so bothered by the design and outlook of it. It is more of the content and marketing for it that we are currently lacking heavily and that's what Koh and I are more concerned about. Yesterday's meeting Alan wasn't around.

If you are new here, and have no idea about KA$H. Here's a brief explanation of what we do. We are a company that provide online marketing for business owners or anyone at all. We can promote and enhance the popularity and demand for any service or products of any business. We also provide hosting services for your websites. Currently we have four projects running. We consists of 5 motivated individuals.

So back to yesterday night's meeting, Hakeem and Koh provided me with the assistance i need in creating a form for the website. sggemstone require some write-ups or articles for it. Since I had got no time to that, i had decided that we sould be hiring a writer. And that is what we have no. During the week that just passed, Hakeem got a writer to help me with the write-ups for gemstonese website.

In case you have not known yet, myself and Koh we're doing on sggemstonejewellery.com, Koh and Allan doing on the Ka$h Hosting website.

last saturday meeting/sharing. Here's what Hakeem wrote in his blog:

"We continue to have a short discussion till 1.30pm and then made our way to Mc Cafe and continue my lesson there. My presentation manage to get everyone to focus on the lesson rather than the surrounding. Pheeeew....It went smoothly.."

Hi guys.

Here's just a quick update:

1. KA$H has a new member by the name of Anthony which makes KA$H a group of 5 people.
2. KA$H will be creating a joint bank account this Saturday.
3. This Saturday KA$H will have a teaching/sharing session conducted by Hakeem and Koh. This session includes one person from out of KA$H.
4. I have been busy with the gemstones website which is already up and running but definitely needs to be fine-tuned more. Here's the url: http://www.sggemstonejewellery.com/
5. Hakeem has provided me a box of KA$H namecards with my name and contact on it. This will be given out to as many people as possible, especially during the 7th and 8th February when I'll be attending the eBay course.

One Thing Affects Everything

Ever heard of "everything affects everything"? Or "one thing affects another" ?

Well that's probably what's happening to me right now. I've been so occupied with my day job (as a General Manager of Rastafari) that I've been real slow with my internet marketing activities. In fact, for the past 2 weeks, I have to admit I practically did not do a thing related to internet marketing. The most that I did was reading emails from fellow internet marketeers and replying to some. My internet marketing has been affected because of my 11-hours-a-day job and my recent family situation. I became high-strung, lost focus and low-willpowered.

That is why I am grateful for the people I have around me. I am grateful for the members of KA$H who never stops their effort in earning through internet marketing and making KA$H a success story. It was just yesterday night that we had our meeting, and from there that I got my spirits and motivation back. How can I ever forget that I actually loved the great feeling of success in internet marketing be it just tiny and humble steps? If not for them, I would be totally off track from my actual goal in earning passively through the internet.

Apart from KA$H, I am also grateful for a lady by the name of Liza whom I had met in Asia Internet Congress 2008. I had been exchanging a few emails with her and she too had unknowingly played a part in motivating me. Even though it's as simple as asking me simple questions related to internet marketing and asking me why I had not been updating my blog. It is people like Liza too that keeps me rooted to my goals. It is true that when you make your goals public, you will have the feeling of obligation to accomplish it, and this is how Liza is helping to motivate me.
